THE MAGIC RETURNS
The original Willow movie has gained a dedicated following over the years, cherished by both new and old fans alike. Now, 20 years later, the beloved story was being revived in a thrilling new series on Disney+. As each episode of the reboot was released on a weekly basis, our team were given the task of creating a series of captivating assets that would pique the audience's anticipation and excitement. Through showcasing the new cast members and the enchanting realm of Andowyne, we aimed to introduce fans to a whole new chapter of the Willow saga.
LETS GO ON AN ADVENTURE
THE WORLD OF ANDOWYNE
The world of Andowyne is vast and magical, so to celebrate the release of all of the episodes streaming on Disney+ we took the map of this magical world and took the fans on an aerial tour of the realm. Taking the black and white map, we used watercolour to sprinkle in a little colour across the key locations, taking inspiration from the opening and closing sequence of the series.
But why stop there? To enhance the visual feast, we went a step further and crafted an immersive 3D environment that offered an unforgettable perspective of Andowyne. Featuring raised mountain ranges, pop-up hotspots, captivating sky elements, and a stunning POV of soaring through the map, the result was truly magical.
LET'S GEEK OUT!
Taking the flat image, we created a world of geometry, raising mountains to the skies and matching up 3D cameras to embed the scene with atmospherics and a feeling of depth as we moved around our new world of adventure, and even releasing a flock of birds across the skies.

MEET THE CAST
To generate buzz and excitement around the exciting new additions to the Willow universe, we organised a series of captivating junkets to showcase the personalities of the cast. One of these content pieces took on a Bake Off vibe in "Dove's Muffin Challenge", where two cast members and GBBO Star David Atherton engaged in a delightful conversation about the series whilst whipping up Dove's famous baked goods from the show. The result was a charming content piece that resonated with fans of the series. Building on this cast-focused content, we engaged with the talented cast in fun and quirky Q&A sessions where they shared their insights into their characters' personalities. We then went the extra mile by designing a themed quiz based on the Disney+ channel, testing the cast's knowledge on all things Disney.
A suite of assets were created to bring our audience into the world of Willow. We created magic-inspired typographic treatments, built to be used across multiple territories, to ensure that anticipation was built across EMEA consistently. A blend of visual elements and curated AV sequences came together to deliver an awareness campaign that was not to be forgotten.

With all the ingredients of of a classic magical adventure (see what we did there!?), our original junket concept came together in record time. Our studios team produced and shot an insightful cookery led Q&A session with unexpected results - as they say, the proof is in the pudding.
