OVERVIEW

An ATL campaign and content play for the iconic God of Thunder in the summer of 2022 - how can you say no to those eyes?!?

THE BRIEF

In the summer of 2022 the God of Thunder returned to the big screen in his next epic adventure - Thor: Love and Thunder. As the temperatures outside soared and the UK experienced a summer like no other, 20ten developed a seasonal campaign hooked into the tonality of the movie and character, one that was designed not to be missed!

STORYTELLING IS

CHILD'S PLAY

To warm up audiences ahead of the 4th epic adventure in the Thor story, Disney wanted to find a way to explain his MCU backstory - making sure everyone knew the key moments throughout his timeline. We wanted an original format for the delivery and very quickly happened on the idea of retelling his story through the medium of a children's play. Our cast were epic and truly fanatical about the story and to be honest said it much better than we ever could. Delivered across YouTube and socials our young band of heroes made sure we all knew the god like tale. 20ten delivered the final piece from script to screen combining all our in house skills, from creative to production, including original illustrations for the set - so I suppose we're Marvel comic illustrators now?

BRINGING THE THUNDER

WE MADE THIS

Inspired by one of the most memorable moments in the movie, we created a bold, colourful execution with Thor naturally at its heart. Handcrafted original typography was integrated into the scene, taking visual cues from the film's distinctive look. The final result was delivered across multiple outdoor executions and social channels.

"WHEN WE MET ALL THE KIDS TOGETHER ON A ZOOM CALL BEFORE FILMING, ONE OF THEM WORE A THOR COSTUME WITHOUT BEING ASKED, WHICH CERTAINLY REASSURED EVERYONE THAT WE'D MADE THE RIGHT DECISIONS ON THE CASTING. THEY WERE ALL ADORABLE."
